HM King Juan Carlos awarded him the title of Royal Yacht Club Ribadeo. The good news has been communicated to the board of the CNR by its president, Mario Coto, during a meeting in the day. " The Yacht Club is the first Ribadeo the province of Lugo in getting the title of Royal and the sixth in Galicia. The NRC received a communication from the granting of this award last week. The President of the Club Nautico de Ribadeo written notice of this award to the president of the Xunta, the Government Delegate in Galicia, the president of the Provincial de Lugo, the mayor of Ribadeo, the president of the Sports Council, the chairmen of Sailing Federation of Galicia and the Spanish Sailing Federation, among others. The Yacht Club has been honored by Ribadeo Foundation headed Ecomar Theresa Zabell, double Olympic champion in sailing.
